This is your sacred time and space to unburden yourself—to show up as the most authentic version of you. Dare to be witnessed in your most unmasked form. Face your shadow parts with compassion and careful confrontation. Begin your journey towards sovereignty and radical possibility.
The only money you've spent on yourself is on flights, fashion, and first-class everything. This process is designed as a weekly investment in yourself for 55 minutes at a rate of $500 per session.
A monthly superbill will be generated and e-mailed to support you in utilizing your out-of-network insurance benefits for partial reimbursement. After out-of-network claim submission and reimbursement, most clients end up investing a net cost of less than $300 per session.
I have a limited amount of sliding scale slots that I offer exclusively to prospective clients who have a voucher through the Loveland Foundation Therapy Fund.

Informed by my post graduate training and clinical experience, I have developed a therapeutic framework that invites clients on a journey beginning with radical pause, followed by radical presence, and concluding with radical possibility. Once a client is able to create possibility in one area of their life, it gives them the evidence and belief to approach other areas of their life in this way.

All therapy services are conducted using a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Please note that, at this time, I can only provide therapy services to clients who are physically located in New York at the time of their session. If you are not currently in New York, I work with clients nationally in a wellness and life coaching capacity through Lavender Leisure®.
The Careful confrontation™Method
Careful Confrontation™ is what happens when your defensive coping mechanisms kick in during a session. When you tell me the worst thing that ever happened to you in the voice of someone reading a weather report, I will stop you and name it. When you pretend not to know what we both know you already know, we will sit in that uncomfortable silence together.
It is important that you understand what this is. I am not confronting you. I am confronting what was done to you and I am doing it while sitting next to you, not across from you. I will not abandon you and I will not allow you to abandon yourself. Compassion is why I do it. Confrontation is the form it takes.
Radical Pause
The practice of noticing the moment before you act, before the money is sent, the call is answered, the guilt is soothed, and choosing what happens next instead of defaulting to what has always happened.
Radical Presence
The practice of staying in a hard moment, your mother's disappointment, her silence, her story of what she sacrificed, instead of immediately fixing it or funding it.
Radical Possibility
The practice of building a sovereign life, rooted in aligned personal agency. Whether your goal is connection with boundaries or disconnection without shame, you will leave our work making a purposeful choice about your investment in your relationship with your mother.
My clinical approach draws on Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Liberation Psychology, integrated with Womanist theology. In practice, that means we work with the part of you that still tries to parent your mother, rewrite the story that says you owe her, and hold your healing inside the fuller context of what it costs a Black daughter to be endlessly capable.
